Youth Forum 7th October 2014 ‘Make your mark’.
Young people representing schools across Spennymoor took part in a carousel to discuss topics as part of a national campaign with the British Youth Council.
They were then given the opportunity to make 2 votes which they felt related strongly to them and they then … MADE THEIR MARK! These results were then fed back at the British Youth Council Convention on the 11th October 2014 by Spennymoor Youth Council.
The two topics which the young people rated as most important to them were ‘Everybody should have the opportunity to do work experience in their chosen profession’ and ‘Everybody should be paid the liveable wage of £7.69 per hour’.
